One week from today, I will be in Dallas while the movers take all our things from Houston to our new home in Kansas. Two weeks from today I will be in our new home, our new city, our new state. Everyone asks...Are you scared? Are you ready? Are you sad? I am all of those things, but mostly...READY! We are truly so excited! We are not thinking of when or if we can move back to Texas. We are ready for this new place to be our home, to raise our children and live our lives, with no anxiety about leaving. We hope to get lots of visitors because it is such a wonderful place from what we have already seen and heard. It's like a little treasure no body knows about yet and we hope it stays that way. We can use a break from the Houston traffic and crowds! So, we continue to clean and organize for the movers this week, but greatly anticipate this portion of the transition all being over soon. We want to all be together every day as a family again...no more traveling husband/daddy!!! We want him home at night to eat dinner with us!! We praise God for the great things he has done and what he has in store...may He receive all the glory! He has truly displayed His strength in our weakness over this past year and a half. We will keep everyone posted and covet your prayers as we move in to this next chapter of our lives. We have amazing people in our lives that we are saying a sad good-bye to, but we know that a stronger bond unites us all and we hope to hear and see from each of you often!!!
